Job Description
Our client is looking for an experienced Power Electronics Systems Engineer to join the inverter systems team, focusing on the development and system-level design of advanced inverter technologies within electric drive systems.
The selected candidate will play a key role in defining system requirements, supporting functional safety activities, and contributing to the development of robust power electronics solutions. This position requires close collaboration with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and cross-functional engineering teams to ensure high-quality system integration and delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Contribute to the system-level architecture and design of inverter solutions for electric drive applications
Gather, define, and document system requirements for inverter technologies
Break down high-level system requirements into detailed technical specifications
Coordinate and communicate with multiple stakeholders across engineering and development functions
Support system safety activities and ensure compliance with automotive functional safety standards
Collaborate with external suppliers and provide technical support during development and integration phases
Participate in validation, requirement traceability, and system engineering activities related to power electronics systems
Assist in ensuring alignment between software, hardware, and system-level requirements
Required Experience
Strong background in power electronics system engineering and inverter development
Experience working with electric drive systems and related technologies
Hands-on knowledge of both Power Electronics Software and Hardware
Proven experience in requirements engineering and requirements management processes
Familiarity with automotive standards including ISO 26262 and ASPICE
Experience using MATLAB/Simulink for system modeling and development activities
Knowledge of CarWeaver or similar system simulation tools
Education Requirement
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent technical discipline is required.
