About the Role:
As Head of Enterprise IT at Icomera, you will lead and develop the company’s Enterprise IT function in a global and technically complex environment. The role carries end‑to‑end responsibility for how Enterprise IT supports the business, both strategically and operationally.
You will be accountable for the IT landscape, processes, tools and delivery for approximately 300 users worldwide. A significant part of the delivery is managed in collaboration with our Parent company Equans IT-department, Equans IT, making stakeholder management and vendor governance central to the role.
You will operate across strategy, leadership and execution. You will play a key role in moving Enterprise IT towards a more structured, predictable and business‑oriented function. The role requires both a long‑term perspective and hands‑on involvement, with a strong focus on clarity, structure and change management. You will be a part in our Data and AI transformation journey, leading the team in best practices and new ways of working.
Beyond the core responsibilities, you act as a trusted partner to the business in IT‑related matters and contribute to long‑term planning together with the CIO whom you report to and other senior stakeholders.
You will be based at our Headquarters in Gothenburg, but the role involves international collaboration and periodic travel to Icomera offices and partners a few times per year.
Key responsibilities:
Define and drive Icomera’s Enterprise IT strategy in alignment with business goals and group requirements
Lead and develop the Enterprise IT team, including structure, ways of working and priorities
Own and drive the Enterprise IT roadmap through the IT Board based on business needs
Ensure stable and reliable IT operations and end‑user support globally, based on ITIL principles
Establish and maintain IT processes related to quality, security and compliance, including ISO standards
Own budget responsibility, cost control and resource planning within Enterprise IT
Act as the primary interface towards Equans IT and other external suppliers
Lead and follow up Enterprise IT projects and change initiatives
Ensure clear communication around IT structures, processes and changes across the organisation
Requirements:
Several years of experience in senior IT leadership roles within complex or international organisations
Strong background in Enterprise IT and ITIL‑based operations
Proven ability to drive structure, process improvement and organisational change
Solid understanding of IT security, standards and compliance
Experience with budget responsibility and vendor management
Very good communication skills in English, spoken and written
The following skills we see as meritorious:
Experience working within or close to a group or corporate structure
Exposure to multi‑site and international IT environments
Knowledge of the Microsoft ecosystem and enterprise applications
Understanding of Data and AI from a business perspective
