Assignment Description
We are looking for an Application / Mechanical Design Engineer
What You Will Work On
Collaborate with sales and commercial teams to understand customer requirements and technical specifications
Translate customer needs into practical engineering and design solutions
Develop and present customer-specific technical proposals
Adapt and modify existing mechanical and system solutions
Perform mechanical design activities using 3D CAD tools
Create production drawings and technical manufacturing documentation
Support smooth handover from design to production
Collaborate closely with engineering, manufacturing, and operations teams
Ensure designs align with manufacturability, quality, and performance requirements
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the product portfolio
Support engineering documentation and technical clarification activities
What You Bring
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree within Mechanical Engineering, Machine Engineering, or similar technical field
Experience from mechanical design, application engineering, or technical documentation roles
Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and manufacturability
Good experience working with 3D CAD tools, preferably SolidWorks
Ability to independently develop technical solutions and documentation
Strong analytical, structured, and detail-oriented mindset
Ability to work under time pressure and manage technical deliverables
Strong communication skills in both Swedish and English
Comfortable collaborating across cross-functional engineering environments
Valid right to work within the EU
