Bring your life
At Thule, we continue to expand our product portfolio to meet the evolving needs of active families and outdoor enthusiasts around the world. To support this growth and fuel future innovation, we’re strengthening our Concept Development team in Hillerstorp.
If you’re an experienced designer who enjoys working hands-on, exploring new ideas, and shaping products from the ground up, this could be the right role for you. You’ll join a creative, forward-thinking team that plays a key role in how we define and develop future products.
What you’ll do at Thule
In the role as Concept Designer, you’ll focus on our soft goods categories, creating early-stage concepts that blend textile and hardgoods design to deliver smart, relevant solutions for an active lifestyle. Your work will span the full concept development cycle: identifying user needs and market insights, generating and visualizing ideas, building mock-ups, testing and refining prototypes, and ultimately presenting complete concept proposals.
You’ll be deeply involved in hands-on product development exploration, working both conceptually and physically with materials, patterns, and prototypes. This includes practical work using sewing machines to build and iterate soft goods solutions. You’ll often collaborate closely with project and product management to align ideas with business opportunities and consumer trends.
This role gives you the opportunity to combine creative problem-solving with technical skill, all within a highly collaborative team environment.
What you bring
To be successful in this role, we believe that you have an academic background in product development, or design, along with extensive experience in concept development. Ideally in consumer products for high-volume production. You’re passionate about developing thoughtful, functional designs and are comfortable working in both digital and physical formats.
Your experience includes working with textiles and soft goods, and you enjoy translating ideas into mock-ups that communicate your vision clearly. You have a strong interest in user-driven innovation and are confident collaborating across teams and disciplines.
Above all, you're curious, hands-on, and motivated by the challenge of shaping ideas into great product concepts.
Why you should join Thule
At Thule, we believe in strong teamwork both within your own team but also cross functional between teams. We strive to be an open and curious organization, sharing our knowledge and inspiring one another.
Within Thule you will find people who have a passion for the products we make and the outdoor company we are. We share the same values, and we like to have fun. All of our employees have a joint responsibility to maintain that spirit and contribute to it.
Hiring Process
