We’re looking for a passionate Embedded Software Developer to join the development of radio-based personal alarm and communication devices used in health care and other critical environments. Our products include VoWiFi phones, DECT handsets, paging solutions, and IP‑DECT infrastructure with the purpose to put the right information in the right hands, at the right time and help people to make the best possible decisions in critical situations.
The position is within R&D at our Gothenburg office.
Your Key Responsibilities
Develop embedded software for real-time communication devices and infrastructure products.
Design and implement low-level drivers and hardware near functionality (I2C, SPI)
Work with real-time operating systems and multitasking/inter-process communication
Develop network communication stacks (TCP/IP, SIP, RTP)
Contribute to radio communication features and protocols.
Collaborate with hardware, quality and cross-functional stakeholders
Participate in system architecture and technical design decisions, including investigating and proposing solutions.
What You Bring
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
Experience in object-oriented C++ development for embedded systems
Experience with real-time OS, multitasking, and inter-process communication
Strong background in low-level C/C++ development for drivers and data communication
Experience with TCP/IP and data security protocols
Solid understanding of low-level development and hardware interaction
Proficiency in development tools as GCC, Git, Docker, Jenkins, CMake
Excellent English skills (spoken and written)
Ability to converse in Swedish
