In this role, you will:
Step into a technical engineering role as either a Process Engineer or Product Integration Engineer
Join a structured 6-month training program combining theory, practice, and mentorship
Receive foundational training in MEMS, engineering, and process integration
Work hands-on as an engineer in Silex’s advanced production environment
Participate in external training for personal development.
Have the opportunity to apply to the Silex US Transfer Program, which is linked to Silex’s strategy to grow and establish additional MEMS manufacturing capacity in the United States
We are looking for someone who has:
A Master’s degree in a relevant engineering field (e.g. nanotechnology, materials, chemistry, physics, mechanical engineering)
Fluent English; Swedish is a plus
A strong interest in high-tech manufacturing and MEMS
A curiosity about and motivation to contribute to Silex’s future growth in the US with the ambition and willingness to relocate to the US when the opportunities arise in the near future.
Career path after the program
After successfully completing the Accelerate Program, you will continue into a permanent engineering role at Silex. You will thereafter also have the opportunity to apply for the Silex US Transfer program.
The Accelerate Program is designed to build a strong pipeline of engineers who can support Silex’s long-term growth strategy, including expansion in both Sweden and the United States. The program is designed as a fast track to roles such as Process Engineer, Product Integration Engineer, or Product Manager — with long-term opportunities to grow into technical expert, project leader, or management positions within an increasingly international organization.

Additional Information
We are looking for one group that will start in the end of September. We will therefore have the application open until the 7th of June, and we encourage you to apply as soon as possible. The application will start with a digital interview with Hubert and the first selection will be based on that interview, your academic grades and experience, logic test and personality fit. Thereafter one from the Talent Acquisition team contact you regarding the next steps in the recruitment process. On all final candidate we will conduct a background check as well as a drugtest.
