About the Role
You will help create a fact-based understanding of production times and capacity in a manufacturing environment focused on large motors and generators. The role combines hands-on work on the shop floor with structured analysis, giving you a key part in understanding how production flows perform today and where improvement potential exists.
Your work will support planning, continuous improvement, and future development of production flows. You will turn observations and production data into clear insights that guide decisions on capacity, utilization, and flow. This is an exciting opportunity if you enjoy connecting engineering, data, and real production challenges in a role with visible impact.
Job DescriptionYou will conduct time studies in production and document cycle times, setup times, machine times, and waiting times.
You will compile, structure, and analyze collected production data.
You will perform capacity calculations for stations, lines, and production flows.
You will identify how utilization, flow, and capacity affect each other and highlight bottlenecks and improvement areas.
You will present results, conclusions, recommendations, and visualizations in a clear and structured way.
You may also support decision-making through simulations of production flows when relevant.
RequirementsYou have a technical education in production engineering, industrial engineering and management, mechanical engineering, or a similar field.
You have a basic understanding of production and flow systems.
You work in a structured way with Excel or similar tools.
You have experience with AVIX.
You bring strong analytical skills and a clear interest in working with data.
You are comfortable working close to production and spending time on the shop floor.
You have fluent English.
Nice to haveExperience in simulation of production flows.
Knowledge of FlexSim or similar simulation tools.
