The Role As HR Manager, you will play a key role in strengthening the connection between the local organization in Linköping, the Nordic countries, and the broader global HR organization within SICK.
The role combines hands-on operational HR responsibility for SICK Linköping with a growing Nordic and international scope. As collaboration across the Nordic countries continues to evolve, you will contribute to building stronger alignment, collaboration, and knowledge sharing across Sweden, Norway, Denmark, and Finland.
You will work closely with local managers, Nordic HR colleagues, and international stakeholders across Europe and the global HR organization. The position offers a unique opportunity to operate in a highly international matrix environment while still remaining close to the business and local culture.
You will report to the Managing Director of SICK Linköping and be part of an international matrix organization with many global touchpoints.
The role also includes line management responsibility for an HR Business Partner and a part-time student working within Employer Branding/Marketing..
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:

Drive and develop the local HR agenda in Linköping while supporting managers in both operational and strategic HR matters


Strengthen alignment and collaboration between the local organization, the Nordic countries, and the broader global HR structure


Build strong relationships across the organization and contribute to a collaborative and business-oriented culture


Participate actively in international HR forums and contribute within areas such as compensation & benefits, grading, and salary frameworks


Contribute to developing SICK Linköping and SICK Service and Sales as an attractive employer and innovation center


Your Profile You are a collaborative and business-oriented HR professional with the ability to build trust across different parts of the organization.
Curious, proactive, and genuinely interested in understanding both people and business, you thrive in an environment where strategic thinking is combined with hands-on operational work.
To succeed in this role, you likely bring:

Several years of broad HR experience, preferably in an HR Business Partner or similar role


Experience working in an international and matrix organization


Strong knowledge of Swedish labor law and HR processes


Proven expertise in Nordic labour law, including Sweden, Norway, Finland, and Denmark


Experience supporting managers in both operational and strategic HR matters


Strong stakeholder management and communication skills


Fluency in English, both written and spoken


Experience from a technology-driven or engineering-oriented organization is considered an advantage, as is experience supporting commercial and/or product development organizations.
