The Grand Indian in Lund is looking for a motivated and passionate Indian Restaurant Cook to join our kitchen team..
We are a well-established Indian restaurant known for authentic Indian cuisine, fresh ingredients, and warm hospitality.
This role is ideal for someone with experience in restaurant kitchens who enjoys Indian cooking and wants to develop further in a professional kitchen environment.
Responsibilities
Preparation of Indian curries, gravies, marinades, rice dishes, and mise en place
Support lunch and dinner service in a fast-paced restaurant environment
Basic independent cooking under supervision
Portioning and plating according to restaurant standards
Preparation of vegetables, proteins, sauces, and ingredients
Support tandoor preparation (experience is a plus)
Maintain food hygiene, kitchen cleanliness, and food safety routines
Handle stock storage and ingredient rotation
Work efficiently as part of a team during busy service hours
Qualifications
1–2 years of experience in restaurant kitchen work preferred
Experience with Indian cuisine is an advantage
Basic cooking skills and willingness to learn
Ability to work in a team and under pressure
Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Have practical experience in Indian restaurant cuisine
Already hold valid authorization to work in Sweden
