About the Role
You will lead a greenfield ServiceNow implementation from planning through go-live. The assignment sits in a complex IT environment where platform setup, governance, stakeholder alignment, and delivery quality all need to come together. You will own scope, timeline, budget, resource planning, risks, and reporting, while coordinating technical and business stakeholders across the full implementation lifecycle.
This is a role for you who enjoy bringing structure to large IT transformations and want real influence over how a new ServiceNow platform is built from the ground up.
Job DescriptionYou will define and drive the project charter, scope, work breakdown structure, schedule, budget, and resource plan for a new ServiceNow instance.
You will establish governance, milestone tracking, decision forums, and change control across discovery, design, build, test, training, deployment, and post-go-live support.
You will lead cross-functional collaboration with architects, business analysts, QA, support teams, subject matter experts, and external implementation partners.
You will manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests to keep delivery aligned with business goals, IT governance, and ServiceNow standards.
You will run stakeholder workshops, steer status reporting, and secure alignment and sign-off for key decisions and project phases.
You will oversee UAT, integration testing, performance testing, go-live planning, initial data validation, hypercare, and final handover to support teams.
Requirements5+ years of professional experience as an IS/IT Project Manager, with 2+ years of direct ServiceNow implementation experience.
Proven track record leading end-to-end IT implementation projects, including full lifecycle planning, execution, and go-live.
Working knowledge of ServiceNow platform fundamentals and core modules including ITSM, Incident, Problem, Change, Request Fulfillment, Service Catalog, and Project Portfolio Management.
Experience with project management tools such as MS Project, Azure DevOps, and Smartsheet.
At least one formal project management certification: PMP, CSM, PRINCE2, or ServiceNow Certified Project Manager.
You are strong in stakeholder management, executive communication, prioritization, and leading cross-functional teams in fast-paced implementation environments.
Nice to haveGreenfield ServiceNow implementation experience.
ITIL Foundation or higher certification.
Experience with additional ServiceNow modules such as ITOM, ITBM, HRSD, CSM, or SPM.
Experience working with global or cross-regional teams and remote implementation resources.
Knowledge of ServiceNow licensing, governance, and platform maintenance best practices.
