Job description:Develop supplier quality within global cable productionDo you want to work close to production and suppliers in a role focused on quality, deviations and continuous improvement within the supply chain? As Supplier Quality Manager at NKT, you will ensure that our suppliers deliver products that meet a predetermined set of quality requirements and contribute to reliable and high-performing supply chains.
You will be part of a global organization contributing to the green transition through reliable cable solutions. Are you interested in a role with operational impact and cross-functional collaboration in an international setting?
Ensure supplier quality across production and supply chainIn this role, you are responsible for following up on supplier-related deviations in cable production and ensuring that corrective actions are identified, implemented and followed up with suppliers. You work closely with purchasing, engineering and production to ensure total supplier performance is mapped, improvement actions are defined and implemented and quality risks are prevented. In collaboration with the global quality organization, you support audits of existing and new suppliers, with a focus on process standardization, waste reduction and continuous improvement.
Your responsibility will also be to:• Follow up material supplier-related deviations daily and route them to the right function• Support Category Managers with data and statistics • Collect, track and present relevant KPIs related to deviations, claims and RCA (root cause analysis)• Providing technical and quality guidance to suppliers to reduce defect rates
The role is part of the Quality function and reports to Sr. Manager Quality. The position is based in Karlskrona, with some travel required.
Structured and collaborative quality-focused professionalTo be effective as a Supplier Quality Manager within NKT, you have solid analytical and technical skills with a high attention to detail. You communicate clearly across functions and are comfortable working with data, deviations and follow-up activities. You are curious and you appreciate working in an operational environment where priorities can change.
You also have:• A Bachelor’s degree in engineering, logistics or a related field• Documented experience within quality, procurement or supply chain within manufacturing• Understanding of quality standards such as ISO 9001 and other relevant industry standards• Experience working in Microsoft Excel• Fluency in spoken and written Swedish and English
