About the job
The Security Risk Manager (People & Insider Threat) is responsible for supporting and coordinating initiatives that protect Alfa Laval's assets, with a special focus on people-related risks and activities. The main objective is to safeguard the Group's companies and employees from unlawful or unethical insider action by fostering a culture of awareness, trust, and proactive prevention.
You will act as an ambassador for good governance, risk management, and internal controls, serving as the primary contact for insider threat and people-related security questions. You will provide expert support to business leaders, HR, InfoSec, and process owners to drive the development and implementation of effective insider prevention processes and controls.
Key responsibilities
Develop and maintain an insider risk framework to protect against internal threats.
Lead security training, awareness, and investigations related to insider risks.
Collaborate with key departments for integrated risk management.
Monitor trends and conduct risk assessments focused on people and insider threats.
Implement and oversee effective insider risk controls and processes.
What you know
Degree or equivalent in security/risk management, Police/Military Academy or equivalent
5+ years' experience in people risk or insider threat roles.
Strong skills in threat analysis, investigations, and risk controls.
Experience with security awareness and behavioral analysis.
Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
Fluent in English; other languages a plus.
Proficient with Microsoft Office and digital training tools.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to simplify complex risks and communicate them clearly
Proven leadership and communication skills, able to build trust and influence at all levels
Effective collaborator with strong interpersonal skills, comfortable working across teams and cultures
Able to translate strategy into practical actions and ensure follow-through
Skilled at managing multiple tasks and projects, balancing strategic and operational priorities
Approachable, adaptable, and strong at building relationships
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiar with digital training platforms
Good working knowledge of computer-based systems and standard Microsoft software packages experience with digital training and awareness platforms is an advantage.
