Substitute Teacher
We are looking for substitute teachers that can cover classes for absent teachers and fritids staff from f-klass up to year 9 in all subjects.
Clear instructions are given, and cover plans are always provided by the permanent teacher. The role also includes taking attendance according to the school's routines and following our common guidelines and policies.
Some might be pre-planned work, but often it’s being there at short notice, so you need to be able to have a reasonable commute to Upplands Väsby.
Job Responsibilities
This is an opportunity for someone that have experience working with children, who would like learn what it is like to work as a teacher and/or in fritids and perhaps studying to become a teacher and looking for some extra work.
Who we are looking for
Can build relationships and collaborate.
Can lead groups and be a safe, clear adult role model.
Has a positive attitude (knowledge of low-affective behavior).
Is flexible and can come in at short notice.
We place great importance on personal suitability. Previous experience is an advantage but not a requirement – the most important thing is your attitude and commitment!
English is our working language, so it’s essential that you are fluent in English and Swedish.
It is also important to have a valid work permit to work in Sweden and a recent police clearance check as required by law when working with children.
