About the Role
As an Senior Frontend Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the websites that power our auction platforms. In this role, you'll build, optimise, and maintain critical user experiences that drive engagement on our online auctioning platform. Through a blend of strategic problem solving and coding, you'll contribute to positioning TBAuctions and its brands as leaders in the online auction industry.
You'll work closely with cross-functional teams across multiple locations, contributing to platform-wide technical decisions while growing your expertise in modern frontend architecture and user experience based optimisation.
This is a fixed-term position to cover a parental leave. The employment is expected to last for 7 months, with a preferred start date in mid-June.
You will be employed by Klaravik AB but will work with TBAuctions
What You Will DoDevelopment & Delivery
Design, develop, and maintain Next.js websites to handle auction browsing, real-time bidding, user dashboards, and payment flows


Write clean, performant code with a focus on user experience while keeping it reusable and maintainable


Implement responsive deigns using Tailwind CSS, optimising for all devices


Contribute to real-time features that power our live auction experiences

Performance & SEO
Optimise Core Web Vitals and implement strategic rendering patterns (SSR, SSG, ISR) to maximise performance and search visibility


Build SEO-friendly page structures with proper metadata, structured data, and semantic HTML


Implement and manage feature flags to enable safe, incremental rollouts and (in the future) A/B testing


Monitor and improve Lighthouse scores, ensuring fast, accessible user experiences

Cloud & DevOps
Deploy and maintain applications within our Azure cloud infrastructure


Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps


Implement monitoring and error tracking to ensure application health and rapid issue resolution (Sentry, Grafana Cloud)


Work with Docker to ensure compatibility between servers


Work with Kubernetes to understand and diagnose our Next.js applications

Collaboration & Growth
Collaborate with local and international teams to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions


Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to frontend patterns and standards


Partner with product managers, designers, senior engineers, and architects to turn business needs into exceptional user experiences


Share knowledge and support continuous improvement within the team

What You BringTechnical Skills
Strong proficiency in React and Next.js with 3–5 years in frontend development


Deep understanding of Tailwind CSS and modern styling approaches


Solid grasp of SEO principles, including technical SEO, metadata management, and structured data


Experience with feature flag systems (LaunchDarkly, Unleash, or similar)


Familiarity with Azure services and cloud-native deployment patterns


Understanding of performance optimisation techniques and Core Web Vitals


Experience with CI/CD practices and tooling (Azure DevOps preferred)

Experience mentoring other developers

Details
Remote work from any location within Sweden is acceptable.


You need to have a valid right to work in Sweden. Unfortunately, we are not able to offer visa sponsorship for this role.


We are looking for someone who can work from Sweden for legal and tax reasons.


Salary: to be agreed upon


Start date: preferred mid June
