About the Role
In this role, you will help shape vehicle software and functional changes early in the development flow, turning ideas into clear and agreed system solutions before development moves forward. You will work in a complex automotive environment where many systems, dependencies, and stakeholders need to come together in a practical and structured way.
You will collaborate closely with internal customers, system owners, and other stakeholders affected by change. A key part of the role is to turn complex discussions into clear system concepts, explain impacts and consequences, and create alignment across both technical and non-technical audiences. If you enjoy cross-functional work and want to influence architecture decisions at an early stage, this role offers the chance to make a real impact.
Job Description
You will support vehicle software and functional changes from idea to agreed solution.
You will work closely with internal customers, system owners, and other impacted stakeholders.
You will facilitate discussions to clarify required changes, affected systems, and overall impact.
You will define and communicate system concepts, including principles, interfaces, messages, and consequences.
You will document agreed solutions in the architecture toolchain.
You will explain complex topics in a clear way that supports alignment across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
You will contribute to a flow-oriented way of working and help promote good practices across the organization.
Requirements
Solid experience from function development, system development, or system ownership in an embedded or vehicle context.
Good understanding of vehicle and platform complexity, and how changes in one area affect other systems.
Ability to create alignment in a group and communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong interest in working cross-functionally and contributing in an architecture-focused role.
Nice to have
Previous experience from Scania.
Knowledge of communication topologies such as CAN and/or Ethernet.
Experience working with continuous delivery or change processes for embedded software.
