About the Role
You will join a central cyber security expert team that supports development and platform teams across a large digital organization. The environment is built around a decentralized security model, where teams are encouraged to own security in their daily work with guidance from dedicated experts. In this role, you will help bring security closer to engineering by combining hands-on support with practical enablement across cloud, applications, platforms, and CI/CD flows.
You will work broadly across security topics, from day-to-day advisory and risk assessments to secure design, vulnerability handling, and supply chain security. The role is a strong fit for you if you enjoy partnering with engineering teams, turning security into something actionable, and influencing standards and ways of working in a modern DevSecOps environment. What makes the role especially interesting is the chance to shape security practices across multiple teams and platforms with real impact on how software is built and delivered.
Job DescriptionYou will provide hands-on security support to development and platform teams in questions related to findings, incidents, and risk assessments.
You will help teams shift security left by integrating automated controls, scanning, and policies early in the development lifecycle and in CI/CD pipelines.
You will contribute to secure design and implementation across cloud environments, applications, and container-based platforms.
You will support vulnerability handling and work with third-party dependency management and software supply chain security.
You will coach engineering teams in practical security measures that strengthen both delivery speed and reliability.
You will share knowledge within the cyber security expert team and help improve common standards, practices, and ways of working.
RequirementsStrong background in application, cloud, or infrastructure security, including vulnerability management and modern secure development practices.
Hands-on experience with one or more major cloud platforms and core services such as compute, identity, networking, logging, and monitoring.
Solid experience with modern software development practices and CI/CD pipelines.
Experience working with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or equivalent.
Ability to collaborate with and coach engineering teams, and to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to complete a background check before start.
Nice to haveExperience in DevSecOps, security engineering, or security roles embedded within development or platform teams.
Practical knowledge of software supply chain security and dependency governance.
Experience with container orchestration platforms, security automation tools, and code or artifact scanning solutions.
Familiarity with common security and compliance frameworks.
Experience supporting large-scale platform, cloud, or security transformations.
