About the Company
At Avaron, you get the security of permanent employment combined with the variety of working at different customers. We place specialists across everything from tech, IT and industry to project management and business support – and whatever the assignment, you have a consultant manager who is there for you and your development.
About the Role
You will help build a new public, modern and customer-facing API offering in an international shipping environment where integrations are business-critical. This is a hands-on role with a strong architectural element, where you will work close to both business and tech teams to turn customer integration needs into reliable, scalable API solutions.
The area is still being established, so you will have real influence from the start. You will review existing customer integrations, identify where the biggest value can be created first, and help shape the target setup for external APIs. The role suits you if you enjoy creating structure in a new space, moving initiatives forward even when not everything is defined, and combining strategy with delivery. It is an interesting opportunity to set standards and shape public API capabilities from the ground up in a complex, customer-driven environment.
Job DescriptionYou review current customer integrations and build an understanding of the most important integration flows and business needs.

You standardize customer APIs and propose modern best practices for how external APIs should be built and governed.
You drive the work forward by demonstrating value early and maturing the solution iteratively.
You set up customer integration adapters for strategic customers and configure the components needed to support the solution.
You develop APIs when needed as part of the initiative.
You automate public API documentation where possible to improve usability and maintainability.
You collaborate closely with the internal API platform, integration developers in product domains, business analysts in customer integration support, and teams working with UX and front-end.
