The Position
We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Senior Engineer / Technical Strategist to act as a crucial link between our Research & Innovation (R&I) and Research & Development (R&D) teams. This role is perfect for an individual who thrives on understanding the big picture and shaping technical direction while remaining deeply connected to technology. You will be instrumental in ensuring that cutting-edge Energy technologies are strategically integrated into the strategic technology roadmap. It is verry important that you will have deep knowledge in the Energy storage arena both technical but also with commercial and customer. You have visited and worked with customers and understand the need from the customer when they use Energy solutions.
You will work closely with the R&I and R&D organization to prioritize technology development and advance the TRL (Technology Readiness Level) before introduction into production. The position could be based in either Mjölby or Gothenburg.
Your Responsibilities
Translate strategic R&I concepts into concrete development plans and technical roadmaps.
Lead and contribute to the development of Minimum Viable Products (MVPs), offering hands-on support and deep product knowledge.
Analyze architectures, trends and competitors.
Serve as the key technical link between R&I researchers and R&D engineers, ensuring smooth communication and knowledge transfer.
Provide critical input to system design to ensure scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
Stay current with trends in Energy, evaluating new technologies for their impact and relevance to our products.
Your Profile
We're looking for an experienced and forward-thinking candidate - someone who not only understands innovation but knows how to turn it into real, working solutions. You have a strong track record of driving ideas from concept to successful implementation, and you thrive at the intersection of strategy, technology, and product development.
Extensive experience in technology roles, with a proven ability to lead innovation from early-stage concepts all the way to launched products.
Deep understanding of current and emerging technologies, particularly in area, like Charing, Energy storage solution and Cell technologies.
Strong background in R&D or product development, with hands-on experience bringing ideas to life and introducing successful products to the market.
Experience in the Energy domain, both hardware and software. Preferable experience in Energy solutions in electrical vessels.
Familiarity with R&D methodologies, along with the ability to evaluate vendors and build reliable, scalable solutions.
A bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer or Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field is required; a master's degree is a strong plus.
Vast experience of relevant professional experience.
