Purpose:
Overall responsibility for financial management of JTI’s Vårgårda Factory. Leading the areas of product cost planning (incl. ASP process), forecasting, actual reporting, control and analysis; inventory management; Capex control. Responsibility for internal control environment together with entity Finance Stockholm and compliance with internal and external rules and regulations as well as consistent application of Company’s operating guidelines, policies and procedures. Point of contact towards GSC finance and HQ finance. Supervision and development of Vårgårda Finance team. Active participation in factory improvement programs as well as in globally initiated projects.
As a Factory Finance Manager, you will:
Ensure effective financial stewardship for GSC Vårgårda Factory by coordinating and overseeing all financial accounting and reporting activities in full compliance with JTI Policies & Procedures and local statutory requirements. Own the development and maintenance of Standard Product Cost and ensure timely, accurate submission of ASP, LE and other financial forecasts to GSC HQ. Oversee actual cost accounting results and provide financial expertise, guidance and challenge to business partners to support performance delivery and continuous improvement.
Provide ongoing financial performance oversight by delivering transparent, fact‑based KPI reporting to the Factory Leadership Team, including conversion cost and raw material variances and overall manufacturing cost performance. Ensure a strong and effective internal control environment, maintaining full compliance with JTI governance standards and J‑SOX requirements. Coordinate and oversee internal control activities and financial audits, ensuring appropriate governance, control effectiveness and timely communication within the Finance community.
Lead the Annual Strategic Plan (ASP) process at factory level, ensuring timely delivery, high‑quality financial inputs and effective communication to relevant stakeholders. Act as a key financial advisor to the Factory Management Team by providing accurate, timely and forward‑looking financial insights to enable informed decision‑making. Provide financial leadership in capital investment governance, ensuring proper execution of the BAP process, close monitoring of project delivery, and post‑implementation performance assessment. Drive continuous improvement by initiating and leading finance transformation and efficiency projects across GSC Finance operations.
Act as an active member of the Factory Leadership Team within the Integrated Work Systems (IWS) framework. Lead the Loss Elimination Pillar, ensuring strong financial linkage to operational performance, structured loss analysis, prioritization of improvement initiatives and delivery of sustainable cost and efficiency improvements through cross‑functional collaboration.
Provide strong people leadership by recruiting, developing and engaging direct and indirect reports to ensure a high‑performing Finance organization aligned with current and future business needs. Drive capability building through structured development plans, coaching and tailored training in line with JTI global and local standards. Assume responsibility for the Communication Specialist & Executive Assistant role, providing direction and oversight and leading the factory communication plan to ensure consistent, effective and aligned internal communication across the organization.
Requirement
University degree in Business Administration or equivalent
3-5 years work experience within finance and controlling.
Preferably experience of international company and experience from a manufacturing company.
Experience in Swedish Labor Law & Work Environment.
English fluently written and spoken.
Proficient knowledge in MS Office.
Preferably experience in SAP.
