WHAT YOU’LL DO
As an Engineering Manager, you are accountable for technical execution, delivery quality, and operational excellence for one or several products or services. You operate at product or service level within an area or domain in Enabling Tech and have the mandate to make technical decisions that support the roadmap and agreed strategies.
You will:
Lead end‑to‑end technical delivery for products and/or services, owning delivery outcomes and technical health
Partner closely with Product Managers and key stakeholders to shape roadmaps, plan releases, and balance delivery speed with long‑term sustainability
Ensure teams design, build, and operate scalable, secure, and reliable solutions
Drive engineering quality through strong standards, metrics, CI/CD, DevOps, and modern engineering practices
Be accountable for delivery of prioritized work, including features, capabilities, and epics
Ensure documentation is maintained and solutions are AI‑ready and automation‑enabled where possible
Delegate operational responsibilities while maintaining overall technical accountability and consistency across teams
Continuously improve engineering processes, ways of working, and delivery outcomes
In addition, you will drive operational excellence by:
Ensuring stability, resilience, security, and compliance across services
Managing risks, dependencies, technical debt, and incident handling
Aligning teams to architecture, security, and operational standards
Overseeing vendor and partner performance to ensure cost‑effective, high‑quality delivery

You will work closely with Product Managers, business stakeholders, architects, vendors, and engineering teams. You act as the primary technical point of contact for your product or service and collaborate cross‑functionally to ensure transparent communication, aligned priorities, and strong outcomes.

Ability to balance technical trade‑offs with business priorities
Strong stakeholder management and vendor collaboration experience
