About the Role
Do you want to help create the details that shape the in-car experience? In this role, you will work with illumination and power outlet solutions in a modern automotive environment where design, functionality and electronics need to come together seamlessly. You will be part of a cross-functional team within interior systems, working with products such as wireless phone charging, USB, 12V solutions and interior lighting.
You will take ownership of hardware-related questions in development projects and work closely with both internal stakeholders and external suppliers to turn requirements into robust products. The role gives you broad interfaces across engineering, design and quality, and offers a great opportunity to influence products that end users interact with every day.
Job DescriptionYou will lead hardware and electronics development within the team and drive the work forward together with suppliers.
You will define and refine requirement specifications to secure the right technical solution and product quality.
You will evaluate hardware performance in rigs and in vehicles, and contribute to analysis and improvements.
You will support test activities and work closely with test and software colleagues during development.
You will take part in packaging discussions to secure the space and integration needed in future vehicle programs.
You will collaborate closely with project leaders, software responsibility, test engineers and specialists in areas such as interior systems, design, EMC, ergonomics, electrical performance, perceived quality and vehicle engineering.
You will contribute with structure, initiative and clear communication in a team that values knowledge sharing and cross-functional cooperation.
RequirementsB.Sc. or M.Sc. in electrical engineering, computer science, or equivalent technical training and experience.
3-4 years of experience in electronic development.
Experience in electronic requirement management.
Fluent Swedish and English, spoken and written.
Valid category B driving licence.
A structured way of working, attention to detail and the ability to collaborate effectively with many stakeholders.
Nice to haveExperience from the automotive industry.
An interest in cars and driver experience.
