Om jobbet

What you will do
In this role, you will set the direction and drive the group-wide agenda for performance management, performance culture, total rewards and global mobility. In this role, you will lead a team of highly skilled People & Culture experts within the area and collaborate closely with Business Areas, Divisions, Group Functions (BA/DV/GF) and countries to define and deliver strategies, methods, policies and tools that enable business priorities and strengthen a clear, consistent performance mindset across Volvo Group.

You will:
Lead the performance management agenda end to end, from purpose and principles to operating model, governance, tools and capability building, ensuring a consistent approach across Business Areas and Divisions.
Build a measurable performance culture by strengthening goal setting, ongoing feedback, coaching, differentiation and consequence management, anchored in Volvo Group values and leadership expectations.
Partner with leaders and People & Culture colleagues to increase performance transparency and accountability, using data and insights to improve decision quality and outcomes.
Through co-creation with specialists in Business Areas and Divisions, you and your team will design and implement performance frameworks, incentive models and reward principles that directly reinforce transformation, growth and sustained performance.
Oversee end-to-end design and delivery of reward programs with a strong focus on globally aligned and locally authentic principles, building towards a “Volvo Group Total Rewards Employee Experience”, and ensuring rewards reinforce the performance culture we want to create.
Support executive management, the Board and the Remuneration Committee on performance and executive pay, providing insights and ensuring sound governance, internal equity, external competitiveness, cost control, and compliance.
Develop a global mobility function with measurable impact across cross-border mobility, balancing talent needs and legal requirements (immigration, tax and social security), ensuring an attractive offering at affordable cost and strong support for expatriates and their families.

Your future team
You will report to the Head of Group People & Culture and be part of a diverse and inclusive team transforming the people agenda across Volvo Group. You will collaborate broadly across employee engagement, inclusion and diversity, health, safety and wellbeing, employee relations, total reward, people services, leadership and learning, with a clear shared focus on enabling performance through leaders, teams and systems.

Who are you?
Do you dream big? We do too, and we are excited to go and grow together. In this role, you bring:
Values-based leadership and a clear passion for building a high-performance culture, where expectations are clear, development is continuous and results matter.
Strong financial and business understanding, with the ability to connect performance, productivity, engagement and cost.
Proven ability to design and implement enterprise performance management that drives measurable business outcomes (e.g., stronger execution, better differentiation, improved talent decisions).
Ability to ensure we invest in our people through attractive, competitive and affordable total rewards programs that reinforce performance and desired behaviors.
Extensive global leadership experience and a proven track record in people and organizational leadership in complex, multinational environments.
Strong strategic mindset and business acumen, with the ability to translate business needs into clear People & Culture strategies, operating models and actionable insights.
Skilled stakeholder leadership, able to influence across functions, levels and cultures, and lead effectively in ambiguity.
Proven track record in senior leadership roles driving measurable business outcomes in complex, multinational environments.

Nice to have:
Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.

What’s in it for you?
We offer a solid reward package, plus you will enjoy:
A high-visibility, high-impact role partnering with executive leadership on critical performance and reward decisions.
The opportunity to shape how Volvo Group defines, enables, measures and rewards performance across a global organization.
A collaborative, people-centric culture where curiosity, dialogue and teamwork shape how we work.
Opportunities to drive harmonization and build scalable solutions across a global network.
A position based in Gothenburg, close to key stakeholders and the center of Group People & Culture.
