Vestas is looking for a Capacity Planning Specialist (m/f/d)!
Region NCE and Global Offshore > Service Operation > Operations Mgt. Office & Capacity Plan
We are looking for an experienced Capacity Planner to own and transform the capacity planning agenda for Service Operations NCE. You will ensure we have the right technicians - internal and external - at the right time and place to execute our turbine service activities efficiently and safely. In this role, you will act as the central point of truth for technician capacity insights, enable cross regional balancing, and guide both strategic and tactical decisions that directly impact our operational performance.
Responsibilities
Manage and own the capacity planning domain, establishing direction, standards, and steering mechanisms across operational, tactical, and strategic levels
Translate regional demand into clear, aligned capacity strategies, ensuring proactive and data driven decision making
Manage cross-regional workforce balancing, directing technician allocation and resource mix with full accountability.
Provide leadership with consolidated capacity insights, shaping decisions through clear scenarios and recommendations
Continuously improve planning processes and tools, steering enhancements that improve transparency, efficiency, and operational maturity
Qualifications
Extensive background in leading and owning complex operational or analytical domains
Experience with capacity or operations planning
Minimum 5 years experience in capacity planning or related operational roles.
Demonstrated experience in complex, multi-variable demand planning
High level of data literacy and familiarity with planning tools
Fluent in English on professional level
Competencies
Ability to build consensus and collaborate across teams while representing your domain to (senior) stakeholders with professional credibility
Thrive in an international working environment and remain professional amid shifting tasks
Systematic and analytical professional who approaches problems with initiative and precision
Effective communicator capable of engaging stakeholders and building consensus
