About the Assignment
You will take ownership of monitoring and observability for a business-critical workshop platform in the automotive industry. In this role, you work close to both support and development, using dashboards, alarms, logging, and system insight to detect issues early and make troubleshooting faster when incidents occur.
You will be part of a team that handles major incidents and acts as the link between the support organization and development teams. The assignment combines hands-on incident work with continuous improvement, giving you real influence over how monitoring is designed, used, and improved from a customer and workshop perspective. Job DescriptionYou will own and improve dashboards, alarms, and monitoring for business-critical services.
You will drive improvements in observability, alerting, and logging from a customer and workshop perspective.
You will use monitoring and system insight to perform initial troubleshooting during incidents.
You will support major incident handling and help route issues to the right development team.
You will collaborate closely with development teams and other stakeholders to strengthen monitoring and overall system reliability.
You will contribute to root cause analysis and follow-up improvements after incidents.
RequirementsExperience working with monitoring or observability for software services
Experience with Datadog or similar monitoring tools such as Grafana or Prometheus
Strong interest in IT, systems, and troubleshooting
Ability to use monitoring and dashboards as a tool for initial incident investigation
Availability to participate in scheduled on-call work with 24/7 support rotation
Ability to work in both English and Swedish
Ability to pass a background check before the assignment starts
Nice to haveKnowledge of electrical systems and embedded systems in vehicles
Software development experience
