We are looking for an experienced CAD Engineer for a consulting assignment with the client in Malmö. The role involves working with the design and development of production fixtures that are integrated into existing production flows. You will be involved throughout the entire process – from concept and design to industrialization, verification, and handover to production.
Responsibilities:
Design and development of production fixtures
Ensure efficient industrialization and implementation in the production environment
Verification and validation of technical solutions
Change management related to design and production
Optimization of costs and lead times
Collaboration with suppliers and cross-functional teams
Requirements
Qualifications:
Strong competence in DFM (Design for Manufacturing) and DFA (Design for Assembly)
Proven experience in design for manufacturing and assembly
Experience with tolerance setting and material selection
Solid experience in production preparation and manufacturing processes
Knowledge of both conventional manufacturing and additive manufacturing (AM)
Experience working with suppliers
Used to working in cross-functional environments

Approved background check
Approved drug test
