We are now actively looking for an individual for the PW1000 program!
The Structures & Cases department develops new products and manages in-service components for civil programs. You will ultimately act as a Non-Conformance Engineer (NCE) for the products and be responsible for signing off all deviations before delivery to our customers.
The role includes coordinating the work within the design team, together with our own experts within GKN in areas such as solid mechanics, materials and related processes, to ensure that all technical requirements are justified before closing. You will be responsible for all technical communication with the customer Pratt & Whitney and external suppliers.
As an NCE, you will manage deviations on GKN products for Pratt & Whitney. You will be part of a design team, with colleagues in Sweden, India and the USA. You will strengthen our Structures & Cases design team, have the opportunity to expand your knowledge, grow within the role and develop within our design organization.

Support the team leader with planning, driving and coordinating deviations in accordance with our delivery targets
Management of remaining deviations from manufacturing and external suppliers
