QA Specialist – Fujitsu Sweden (Patch Management)
Location: Stockholm – Marievik (Liljeholmen) & Sveavägen
Employment Type: Full‑time, temporary consultancy assignment

About the Role
Fujitsu Sweden is looking for an experienced QA Specialist to support a critical Patch Management assignment. In this role, you will take end‑to‑end responsibility for test planning, execution, and reporting across system testing and UAT, ensuring high‑quality deliveries for a key customer. This is a consultancy assignment where you will be employed by Barona Professionals AB and work on‑site at Fujitsu locations in Stockholm, with frequent interaction with customer stakeholders. This role is well suited for a QA professional with a few years of hands‑on experience who is ready to take ownership of testing activities in a structured enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities
Create, update, and maintain test plans for System Testing and UAT
Own and manage all testing activities for assigned projects and customers
Execute tests and actively support test teams to remove blockers
Track, analyse, and report test execution, results, and progress
Log, manage, and report defects using defect management tools (JIRA knowledge is a plus)
Chair and participate in Defect Control Boards (DCB) with customers and suppliers
Ensure defects are assigned, followed up, and resolved
Coordinate test environment installations with internal and external teams
Investigate failed test cases together with Fujitsu testers and recommend solutions
Liaise with customers and stakeholders to ensure testing stays on track
Produce daily progress reports per subsystem, covering executed, passed, failed, and deferred test cases, as well as defects raised
Prepare and present test reports and secure customer approval and sign‑off
Ensure requirements and documentation are clearly communicated to test analysts and testers
Validate adherence to legal and regulatory requirements
Contribute to a quality‑driven culture focused on delivering compliant, production‑ready software
Key Deliverables
Test schedules and test plans
Detailed test execution and summary reports
Active participation in DCBs and other project meetings
Accurate registration, tracking, and reporting of defects
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Test activities delivered according to plan and schedule
Clear, precise, and unambiguous test results
All test activities and issues logged with a full audit trail
Known status and ownership of all defects
Strong on‑site presence and professional conduct
Qualifications & Experience
Proven experience in QA / Test Management
Strong understanding of test planning, execution, and reporting
Experience with defect management tools (JIRA is an advantage)
Excellent communication skills; fluent in English (Swedish not required)
Comfortable working fully on‑site and engaging directly with customers
