About the Assignment
You will help create a fact-based view of production times and capacity in an environment focused on large motors and generators. The goal is to support planning, continuous improvement, and the future development of production flows through solid data and clear analysis.
This assignment combines hands-on work in production with analytical work around flow, utilization, and capacity. You will work close to operations, gather insights from the shop floor, and turn them into decision support that can improve how production is planned and developed. It is an exciting opportunity for you if you enjoy connecting real production data with practical improvements.
Job DescriptionYou will conduct time studies in production and document cycle times, setup times, machine times, and waiting times.
You will compile and analyze collected data to create a clear picture of current production performance.
You will perform capacity calculations for stations, lines, and production flows.
You will identify relationships between utilization, flow, and capacity to support better planning and improvement work.
You will present results, conclusions, and recommendations in a clear and structured way.
You may also contribute with visualizations and simulations that support decision-making.
RequirementsYou have a technical education in production engineering, industrial engineering and management, mechanical engineering, or a similar field.
You have a basic understanding of production and flow systems.
You have strong analytical skills and an interest in working with data.
You have experience working in a structured way with Excel or similar tools.
You have experience with AVIX.
You are comfortable working close to production on the shop floor.
Nice to haveExperience in simulation of production flows.
Knowledge of FlexSim or similar simulation tools.
