Quality Engineer Production - Quintus Technologies Västerås
At Quintus Technologies, we are proud to be the world leader in advanced high-pressure technology, delivering innovative systems and world-class service to customers across the globe.
It’s an exciting time to join Quintus as we continue to strengthen our organization. We are now looking for a Quality Engineer to join our Quality team, in a newly defined role focused on production.
You will work close to the operation, take an active role in driving improvements, and play a key role in developing quality work in production. The role offers a broad scope, combining hands-on work with the possibility to shape how quality is managed going forward, with good opportunities to grow within the company over time.
You will be part of the Quality team, working in close collaboration with Production, Engineering, Supply Quality Assurance (SQA) and other key functions. In this role, you act as a link between quality and operations, with the mandate to both support in daily work and drive improvements.
The role
The role as Quality Engineer Production combines hands-on, operational quality work with the opportunity to build and strengthen a more preventive approach. You will work closely with production, with a clear focus on non-conformity management (NCR). This includes supporting and guiding the organization in handling quality issues, understanding root causes and ensuring that appropriate actions are implemented to prevent recurrence.
At the same time, you will play an important role in strengthening the preventive side of quality work. This includes building structure, introducing ways of working and developing how quality risks are identified and managed in production, for example through methods such as FMEA.
Your profile
We believe you have a university degree in engineering and a few years of experience from hands-on quality work in an industrial environment. You have a good understanding of quality methods, measurements and standards such as ISO 9001, and you are comfortable working close to production in a role that combines structure, collaboration and drive.
