You will also contribute to clinical development, referral assessments, and serve as a mentor for junior doctors.
Why this opportunity?
A highly interdisciplinary environment with physiotherapists, occupational therapists, nurses, psychologists, and social workers
Well-structured routines and openness to new ideas
A mix of inpatient care (12 beds + 2 day slots) and outpatient rehabilitation teams
A collaborative atmosphere where your expertise is valued and supported
A workweek with no on-call duties
Requirements
Holds an EU-recognized specialist certification in rehabilitation medicine
Minimum 2–3 years of post-specialist experience working independently
Experience with at least one of the following: acquired brain injury, spinal cord injury, or pain rehabilitation
Strong team mindset, ability to take initiative and contribute to interdisciplinary collaboration
Interest in mentoring and supervising junior doctors
Willingness to learn Swedish (language course provided)
Why central Sweden?
This opportunity is based in a peaceful region in central Sweden, surrounded by nature, lakes, and forests, ideal for those seeking a calm and balanced lifestyle. The area offers excellent public services, short commutes, and year-round access to outdoor activities such as hiking, skiing, and kayaking. The supportive community and high quality of life make it an excellent place to settle long-term.
What Dignus Medical offers you:
Ongoing support from a recruiter before, during, and after your employment
Assistance with obtaining Swedish authorization and approvals
Help with accommodation and relocation for you and your family
