Artificial intelligence is transforming society. AI Sweden is the national center for applied artificial intelligence, jointly funded by the Swedish government and our partners, both public and private. Our mission is to accelerate the use of AI for the benefit of our society, our competitiveness, and for everyone living in Sweden.
We are looking for a passionate new colleague to help shape the future of AI Sweden and significantly enhance our ability to support partners. You will play a vital role in empowering organizations to leverage AI and solve critical societal and business challenges.
For the Partner Manager role, we are seeking individuals who can drive significant impact on organizations' ability to apply AI. You will achieve this by skillfully combining your general knowledge of AI methods, systems, and implementation with a deep understanding of organizations and change management. This is a key position at AI Sweden, influencing how Sweden leverages AI to build a better society.
About the position
You will be responsible for some of AI Sweden’s important partners, such as corporates, consultancy firms, regions, municipalities or authorities, and actively enable them to generate maximal value from the partnership of AI Sweden. This includes a wide range of activities such as:
Building relations with relevant decision-makers, changemakers and practitioners throughout our partner's organizations.
Actively support partners in their AI maturity journey.
Through meetings, networks and events, catalyze matchmaking between partners' individuals and teams with other partners and AI Sweden's activities.
Attracting, signing and onboarding new partners to AI Sweden.
Identifying high impact challenges and opportunities.
Conceptualize solutions or applied research- and innovation projects.
Contribute to the overall development of AI Sweden.
We believe that as a person you are:
An energetic and curious person with exceptional skills in building relationships, strong social, communications and management skills, as well as a commitment to making real difference.
A generalist rather than a specialist. Curious and eager to learn when it comes to new tools, platforms, and technologies.
Dedicated and likes to take responsibility for your work; from ideation through production and over the finishing line.
Good at paying attention to details as well as seeing the broader picture.
Ready to undertake any tasks, large as small.
Workwise, you have:
Minimum 5 years of experience of different AI technologies and how to apply them in practice.
Experience of change management, key account management or complex sales.
Minimum 5 years of experience in relevant environments/roles where change or transformation of some sort has been a dominating aspect.
Experience working in or closely with the public sector.
Ability to explain technical solutions and project results for non-technical audiences.
Capability to quickly understand different domains and organizations and their challenges.
A structured way of working
Experience of building and maintaining good relations with different types of roles and organizations.
A constructive approach to finding synergies between initiatives and to maximizing values for stakeholders.
Fluency in both Swedish and English.
Why work for AI Sweden?
At AI Sweden, you’ll be part of a diverse and highly skilled team with inspiring colleagues all working with a higher purpose in mind than “just” tech. You'll be working alongside journalists, linguists, policy professionals, leading AI scientists, historians, entrepreneurs, change leaders, and many more.
As an organization, we’re uniquely positioned at the sweet spot of governmental influence and startup agility. Small enough to stay adaptive and have fun but backed by and in close contact with both the government, academia and private and public sector.
And, within our mission, we can most certainly be a platform empowering you to realize your ideas. AI Sweden’s ability to empower partners and individual team members to do exceedingly well in their profession is a key success factor for driving positive and significant impact.
In short, we like to believe we offer our team members a place to grow, an environment for personal development and achievements.
An equal and fair working environment
We strongly believe in diversity and inclusion and are acutely aware of the skewed gender balance in our industry. We actively strive to put together a diverse team in terms of age, gender, and background.
Naturally, we are under a collective agreement (“kollektivavtal”) and offer everything that comes with it in terms of annual leave, pensions, wellness allowance (“friskvårdsbidrag”), and such.
If you have any questions or thoughts, don’t hesitate to contact Agneta Jacobson, Director of Strategic Partnerships, agneta.jacobson@ai.se.
Deadline for application: 2026-05-11
AI Sweden does not accept unsolicited support and kindly ask not to be contacted by any advertisement agents, recruitment agencies or manning companies.
