About the Assignment
You will join a company in industrial and embedded systems that is building connected products with high demands on security, reliability, and compliance. The assignment focuses on secure firmware development, where you help ensure products are secure by design and aligned with evolving EU regulations and industry standards.
You will work across embedded development and product security, from architecture and risk analysis to firmware updates and compliance support. Job DescriptionYou will design, develop, and maintain embedded firmware for industrial products using C, C++, and Python.
You will implement secure development practices and cybersecurity controls throughout the firmware lifecycle.
You will perform threat modeling, risk assessments, and architecture reviews to strengthen product security.
You will help define secure firmware update flows and patch management processes.
You will support SBOM creation, vulnerability tracking, and compliance documentation.
You will contribute to audit readiness and certification work linked to product security requirements.
RequirementsDegree in Computer Science, Embedded Systems, Electronics, or a similar field.
Strong experience in embedded development with C, C++, and Python.
Knowledge of Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) requirements and IEC 62443.
Experience with secure development lifecycle practices such as SDL or SSDLC.
Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, and automated testing.
You communicate clearly and work in a structured, solution-oriented way.
Fluent in English.
Nice to haveSwedish language skills.
