About the Assignment
You will join a senior development setup in the banking sector where backend services, integrations, and batch processing are central to business-critical flows. The environment is technically broad and combines modern Java development with database-heavy solutions, event-driven integrations, and a platform that is moving toward Kubernetes and a modernized tech stack.
There are several openings with slightly different focus areas. Some roles are centered on Java backend development with Spring Boot and databases, while one role has a stronger emphasis on Spring Batch and batch processing. After the introduction period, you are expected to take ownership of your work and contribute in a collaborative SAFe setup.
This is a great opportunity if you enjoy technically challenging backend work in a complex domain where reliability, integration quality, and modern engineering practices matter.
Job DescriptionYou will build and maintain backend services in Java and Spring Boot for business-critical solutions.
You will work with databases and integrations, including REST APIs, Kafka, and file-based connections to legacy systems.
You will contribute to batch-oriented development where Spring Batch, Apache Camel, and stored procedures are part of the landscape.
You will help modernize runtime environments and support the move toward Kubernetes and a more modern platform setup.
You will collaborate closely with other developers and teams in a SAFe setup, while also driving your work independently after onboarding.
You will work in an environment with established CI/CD, monitoring, and logging practices using tools such as Bitbucket, Jenkins, Artifactory, Splunk, Grafana, and AppDynamics.
Requirements8–10+ years of experience in backend development.
Strong experience in Java and Spring Boot.
Solid experience working with databases.
Experience in Spring Batch, or a strong background in batch-oriented development.
Ability to work independently after the introduction period.
Experience collaborating effectively in a team-based setup such as SAFe.
Fluent English.
