About the Opportunity
Our client is seeking two Software Responsibles to join their Software & Electronics division, focusing on next-generation powertrain development. This role offers the opportunity to work on advanced hybrid and fully electric systems, contributing to sustainable mobility solutions within a highly skilled, collaborative engineering environment.
Role Overview
The selected candidates will act as software owners for key components such as ECUs or inverters within ongoing projects. The role involves managing software deliverables, coordinating development activities, and ensuring alignment between internal teams and external suppliers.
Key Responsibilities
Take ownership of software components within assigned projects, ensuring delivery against technical, cost, and timeline targets
Lead and coordinate base software development activities across different project phases
Act as the primary interface between the client and external suppliers for assigned components
Translate high-level requirements into actionable plans and distribute them to relevant function owners
Collaborate closely with software, hardware, and architecture teams to ensure integrated solutions
Monitor progress, manage dependencies, and ensure alignment with overall project objectives
Support design, development, and implementation of software solutions for ECUs or inverter systems
Ensure compliance with defined specifications and quality standards
Required Experience & Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field
Experience in base software development within automotive systems (e.g., ECM, TCM, inverters)
Understanding of AUTOSAR, application software, and system integration
Experience in requirements analysis, supplier coordination, and project delivery
Familiarity with automotive communication protocols such as CAN
Preferred Skills
Experience with tools such as TeamCenter, Polarion, or similar lifecycle management systems
Knowledge of development frameworks such as ESOW
Experience working with ECUs, ECMs, TCMs, or inverter systems
Exposure to supplier management and cross-functional coordination
Swedish language proficiency

Work performed in a remote desktop setup using consultant’s own equipment
