Assignment Description
We are looking for a Low-Level Network & Switch Specialist
What You Will Work On
Analyze and debug low-level Ethernet communication in embedded automotive systems
Work across physical and data link layers (Layer 1–2), including PHY and MAC behavior
Perform hardware-level diagnostics and validation using oscilloscopes and measurement tools
Capture and analyze high-speed signals, including eye diagrams and jitter measurements
Troubleshoot signal integrity issues in Automotive Ethernet interfaces (e.g., 100BASE-T1, 1000BASE-T1)
Conduct packet and frame-level analysis using tools such as Wireshark
Debug switching architectures including VLANs, QoS, TSN, and buffering mechanisms
Support hardware bring-up, board validation, and component-level debugging
Work with embedded Linux or RTOS environments and low-level drivers
Contribute to ensuring system stability, performance, and compliance
What You Bring
Strong expertise in Automotive Ethernet and IEEE 802.3 standards
Deep understanding of PHY/MAC interfaces, SerDes, and signal integrity
Advanced experience using oscilloscopes for high-speed signal measurement and debugging
Hands-on experience in lab-based hardware debugging and validation
Experience with packet analysis tools (e.g., Wireshark)
Solid understanding of Ethernet switching concepts (VLAN, QoS, TSN)
Experience with embedded systems (Linux or RTOS) and low-level driver development
Knowledge of automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, SOME/IP)
Experience with hardware bring-up and board-level debugging
