About the Assignment
You will join an environment where business-critical applications need to be developed, maintained, and supported on the OpenVMS platform. The role is centered around VcomDecom activities and may also include supporting deliveries connected to a powertrain engine plant.
This is a hands-on assignment for you who enjoy working close to both technology and users. You will be part of a setting where legacy platforms, modern development practices, and real operational needs meet. It is an interesting opportunity if you want to work with specialized systems, broad technical scope, and a product environment with clear business impact in the automotive sector.
Job DescriptionYou will develop and support applications running on OpenVMS and related VcomDecom activities.
You will work across both front-end and back-end development, depending on what the solution requires.
You will collaborate directly with key users to understand needs, solve issues, and improve application support.
You will take part in requirement breakdown sessions and help turn business needs into technical solutions.
You will contribute throughout the software development lifecycle, including analysis, development, unit testing, and continuous integration.
You will help ensure stable and effective deliveries, with the possibility to support solutions connected to a powertrain engine plant.
RequirementsCompetence in system development.
Experience with parallel processing solutions.
Ability and willingness to work in both front-end and back-end development.
Experience of working in direct interaction with key users.
Experience of participating in requirement breakdown sessions.
Knowledge of the software development lifecycle, including analysis, unit testing, and continuous integration.
Experience with OpenVMS or VMS Platform.
Experience with .NET.
Experience with MSMQ.
Experience with SQDB and Oracle RDB.
Ability to complete the required background checks before start.
Nice to haveExperience with Fortran.
Experience with JavaScript.
Experience with test automation and Test Driven Development.
Experience with SQL.
Experience with mobility-related solutions.
Experience from the automotive industry.
