Role Description
As a Product Compliance Specialist at Husqvarna, you play a key role in ensuring that our products meet global laws, standards, and safety requirements, particularly within ride-on and robotic lawnmowers. With a strong focus on product safety, you will build deep expertise in a fast-evolving regulatory landscape and act as a trusted advisor across the organization.
You represent Product Compliance throughout the entire product development process, ensuring requirements are understood, communicated, and fulfilled. Acting as the primary compliance contact for your assigned product area, you collaborate closely with internal stakeholders while actively engaging with external networks, industry organizations, and standard committees. Through strong communication and advocacy, you help shape future regulations and support sustainable product development.
Key responsibilities include:
Representing Product Compliance in new product development and verifying adherence to safety and regulatory requirements
Acting as the main compliance contact for a product area, supported by the compliance team
Monitoring and communicating global regulatory changes related to product safety
Participating in compliance networks and standard committees, representing Husqvarna’s perspective
Contributing to lobbying efforts supporting sustainable materials and regulatory development
Providing expert guidance on product safety–related questions
Your profile
You are a communicative and self-motivated person who enjoys taking responsibility. You build trust naturally and approach your work with strong personal integrity.
To excel in this role, we seek individuals with the following qualifications:
- M.Sc. or B.S. degree in engineering, for instance within mechanical or electrical engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Competence and experience in product compliance.
- Proficiency in English.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in large organizations, with a keen ability to comprehend the "big picture."
