Job description:Promote health and safety across local operationsAs an HS Specialist in Karlskrona, you will work close to daily operations and contribute to safe, healthy, and sustainable ways of working. This role combines practical HS activities with advisory support, helping the organization reduce incidents and improve wellbeing across the site. You will be part of a global company supporting the green transition while helping improve safety and wellbeing in everyday business. Do you want a role where health and safety are closely connected to real operational needs?Support daily operations with practical health and safety focusIn this position, you will be part of the HS Team KKA in Karlskrona, working closely with production and support functions. The role focuses on implementing and maintaining local HS procedures, advising the organization in operational matters, and contributing to continuous improvements in health and safety performance. You support managers and teams by providing clear guidance, structured follow-up, and practical solutions aligned with business needs.Your responsibility will be to:
Support operations in reaching HS objectives and applying procedures
Participate in root cause analysis related to incidents and accidents
Act as a supporting role in investment projects
Prepare and carry out health and safety training and common education
Take part in risk assessments and HS-related evaluations
Support HS measurements, reporting, and coordination forums
The role is based in Karlskrona and includes close collaboration with local operations and stakeholders. Limited travel may occur as part of coordination or project-related activities. You report to the HS Manager in Karlskrona.
Profile description:Supportive and communicative HS professionalYou enjoy working close to people and operations, and you approach discussions with a supportive and clear communication style. You are structured, consistent, and motivated to contribute to improved working conditions. Building trust and maintaining good cooperation with different functions comes naturally to you, and you are comfortable handling both planned activities and day-to-day questions.You also have:
University degree, preferably within Health & Safety or a related field
Several years of professional experience within Health & Safety
Knowledge of HS processes in an industrial or operational environment
Experience participating in incident investigations or risk assessments
Fluency in spoken and written Swedish and English
