Om jobbet

Milkywire is an impact firm connecting businesses with high-quality climate action. Our Durable Carbon Removal (CDR) services help companies build credible, science-aligned carbon removal portfolios — from catalytic early-stage purchases to large-scale procurement.
The Role
We are looking for a Senior Impact Manager to drive the growth of our CDR commercial offering. This is a senior role sitting at the intersection of business development, impact management, and CDR expertise. You will shape our CDR product offering, own sales processes, and represent Milkywire in key industry forums.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales
Manage the full sales cycle for CDR — from lead generation to closing deals
Identify and engage high-value prospects and strategic partners
Develop tailored proposals and build relationships with key stakeholders

CDR Offering & Positioning
Lead the development of our commercial CDR offering
Update pitch materials and commercial touchpoints
Stay current on industry trends, regulation, and competitor landscape
Contribute to thought leadership through articles, white papers, and webinars
Represent Milkywire at strategic events and speaking opportunities

Impact Management
Input on supplier selection, due diligence processes, and supplier reporting
Develop and refine evaluation frameworks for CDR scale procurement
Drive process improvements to strengthen quality assurance

Qualifications
Required
Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g. climate science, environmental science, carbon geochemistry, or other scientific discipline)
3+ years of experience working in or closely with the CDR sector
Strong understanding of CDR technology landscape — both engineered and nature-based approaches
Proven experience in business development, sales, or commercial partnerships
Excellent communication skills — able to engage both technical and non-technical audiences
Fluency in English

Meriting
Existing network within the CDR ecosystem (buyers, suppliers, researchers, policymakers)
Experience representing organisations at industry events or in a thought leadership capacity
Familiarity with CDR procurement, MRV standards, or carbon market frameworks
Experience working in or with the US climate/carbon market

What We Offer
A senior role with real ownership and direct impact on Milkywire's growth
A small, expert team working at the frontier of carbon removal
Based in our Stockholm office
Salary: From SEK 55,000 per month gross, depending on experience
